House update :)

Well, we have had the inspection and all looks good with that. Ken did the inspection with the inspector and they spent 3-4 hours in the house and Ken said that it looks good. We have the appraisal this Tuesday and should have the report back from that in a couple of weeks. So hopefully all goes as well with that. We are sure keeping our fingers and toes crossed! :)

I have also started up our Cub Scout troop here. We also just found out that we are going to have to be our own pack because the ward charters our scouts and so we can't participate with the city pack. But not a big deal. We had our first den meeting on Wednesday. I had 4 boys show up and one that was sick. So we have 5 total and are so excited. This ward has not had Cub Scouts for many years. In going through old boxes of scout stuff, (Ken says Hi to everybody!) I found records from years of scouts and nothing after 1996! That is quite a long time. Ken has also started with his Young Mens group. For those who don't know, Ken was called to be the Young Men's President. He is excited for a new challenge. We both meet on Wednesday nights and so it is the Morrison Family night at the church. The kids just go back and forth between Young Men's and Cub Scouts depending on who is doing the most fun thing at the time!
