Spruce Cape beach

We headed out to the beach last night after Ken got off work to play around and have fun. It was a fun beach. They have dumped old military stuff all over the beach years ago and so there are tank parts and pieces, old engine blocks, just all sorts of cool stuff. But it made really fun tide pools! We also found lots of "jewels" as the kids like to call them. Old broken glass pieces that have been washed around in the surf for so long that it is smooth and shiny and in all sorts of shapes. I also found a couple of pieces of old pottery and Ken found some old intact bottles that were in pretty good shape. They look like old medicine bottles and an old ink bottle. The boys found a huge colony of hermit crabs and a bunch of little fish. Quincy was just so excited everytime she found a sea shell or even a piece of sea weed! It was cute. Myah only cared about collecting the "jewels", she was in princess heaven!
