We went out on a hike this morning with some friends through this forested area. It is called Fort Ambercrombie. We went around this beautiful lake and then came to the end of the trail and we were at this fun beach with huge rock cliffs around us and all these fun places to play. We had fun playing in the water and climbing the rocks etc. Cole found a big sea star way up high on the beach that he "rescued" and put back down in the ocean. We have had a gorgeous weekend with nice warm weather. We got out Saturday and cleaned up our yard and worked in the flower beds. We also got to show the kids what slugs were. They thought they were pretty cool!
